This week marked the launch of Gulfstream’s latest private jet offerings – the G-400 and G-800.

The G-400

@Gulfstream

Slotted between the super-midsize G-280 and the large cabin G-500/G-600, Gulfstreams’s new G-400 is the first new product in its class for decades. Powered by twin Pratt & Whitney turbofans (PW8112GA), the G-400 will carry up to 8 passengers and 3 crew up to a range of 4,200nm at a speed of mach 0.85. As with all Gulftsream models, there are many configuration possibilities for what is described by the company as their new entry-level jet.

G-800

@Gulfstream

Penned to replace the G-650 large cabin jet when it enters service in 2023, the G-800 will be powered by Rolls-Royce pearl 700 engines and will carry up to 8 passengers with 4 crew. Although slightly shorter than the 7,500nm range G-700, the longer legged G-800 will achieve a maximum range of 8,000nm at a speed of mach 0.85.
